If you have been around anytime in the last week or two, you have seen lots of activity in and around the chapel. There is work going on inside and out, upstairs and down!

Most notably, our new windows are in and you will not believe the amount of natural light spilling into the new worship space. There are two windows on either side of the worship space, and then a large window in what will be the new Narthex on one level, and Pastor Alex Thomas' new office on the balcony level. The view from the new Narthex is wonderful.

Work on the new water line for the sprinkler system system (think fire proofing not irrigation) is nearing completion, the new patio has been tweaked and laid out, and perhaps most exciting was to see the beginnings of the steel structure that will form the base of the new entryway into the youth center go up! What a grand entryway this will be for our young people.

We had a great meeting with architect and contractors yesterday and everything is still on schedule AND budget which is great news. Now we're working on all the fun and exciting ways to unveil our newest space to you and to the community. Stay tuned.

Congratulations on your new windows! The natural light coming in from the windows would indeed help improve your worship space. Natural light helps brighten up the mood of people living in there and could definitely decrease the electric bill. Also, don’t forget to do regular checkups and maintenance to ensure that the windows are in good condition and clean.
